Keum boo is an old technique of fusing 24ct gold foil to silver, and I love using it . This pair of earrings are sterling silver with 24ct gold, oxidised and has two beautiful hand cut gems dangling below. My inhouse cutter has cabachoned up a montana sapphire and  a stunning green tourmaline, both are set in gold panned from rivers here in Scotland.
