Claire was educated at Staffordshire University, Brighton University and the UCE School of Jewellery and holds BAs in WMCP, and Jewellery and Silversmithing.

She previously worked with the West Sussex Fine Arts Jewellers in Chichester.

She was part of the team who were runners up to design the Eurovision Trophy in 1993.
